I was excited to photograph Kezia earlier this month in east London, taking personal branding photos for her new doula business Your Birthing Friend… plus we snuck in a couple of fancy opera headshots too! From the moment Kezia got in touch, I loved her warm, nurturing presence and playful energy… I knew we were going to get along well.
As a professional opera singer up until lockdown hit last year, Kezia decided to pursue another of her passions and established herself as a doula. For those who don’t know, a doula supports women throughout their pregnancy, birth and beyond.
Kezia truly believes in empowering women through each of their unique journeys, to support them non-judgementally and always have their wellbeing as her main focus. She’s on hand before, during and after each birth depending on her clients needs. She’ll also be on call 24/7… she’s basically a superhero!
