I travelled to Nottingham for a soulful brand shoot with psychotherapist Kamaldeep Chohan, who found the perfect Victorian countryside home to bring her vision to life.
Specialising in CBT and EMDR therapy, Kam helps clients navigate mental health challenges such as PTSD, depression, anxiety, and trauma. She has a deep passion for hearing people’s stories, understanding their experiences, and guiding them toward healing.
Kam describes therapy as piecing together a puzzle—identifying current struggles, exploring past influences, and uncovering the factors that sustain them. Witnessing someone emerge stronger from a difficult period is what she finds most rewarding.
For our shoot, Kam envisioned a space that reflected the essence of her work—warm, inviting, and safe. She wanted a home with cosy armchairs, towering bookshelves, and an atmosphere that put people at ease.
Capturing her in this environment, working with some clients (with a little help from her friends standing in!), was an absolute joy! Thank you Kam for your trust.
