An October personal branding shoot in Hackney with the brilliantly talented Melissa Burns of Round The Mountain, featuring some pre-Halloween pumpkins!
A designer by day, Melissa set up her business three years ago and works with a wide variety of brands assisting with graphic design, identity, art direction and strategy. Her work spans fashion, beauty, culture and lifestyle and her designs are super cool.
Hanging out with Mel was a whole lot of fun (see my Instagram reel for some behind the scenes action). We started early at The Fisheries, a co-working space in London Fields, with an industrial feel, huge windows and beautiful light… perfect to capture portraits of Mel at work.
Keen to take some urban shots too, we headed out into the nearby streets and railway arches and then, as if by magic, the sun poked it’s head out for a brief moment! I love everything we created on this shoot and I’m over the moon with the results (see gallery below).
